Right Turn Only

"I'm so sorry for all you are going though," said Wiggle in a kind voice.  "But I think you are mistaken about the others.  All of them have been through difficult times."

"Not as bad as me," said Hank.

"Well, I am glad that your old family brought you into rescue," said Wiggle.  "Henry's family dumped him out on the side of the road.  They never even cared what happened next."

"At least I have food and a safe home," thought Hank.  "I didn't realize the others have lived through bad things. They all look so loved and happy. I thought I was the only one. I feel bad that I was so mean to them."

"I am certain they would like you if you stop bullying them around.  Learn to share and learn to be a helpful part of the family," said Wiggle.  "You will be loved and happy someday, just like they are."

Hank listenned carefully.  Deep down in his heart, he believed that if his very own family didn't love him, then no one ever would.  He had given up hope.

As if Wiggle knew exactly what he was thinking, she said "Don't ever give up hope.  But you have to do your part to make things better in your life."

"Do you really think I can turn things around?" wondered Hank.

Before he realized all that had happened, Hank was back.

"But wait, your ghostliness, I don't even know your name!" said Hank in a panicked voice.

Wiggle laughed.  "I'm not a ghost, Hank," she said.  "My name is Wiggle Bus. I live here too!  I'm glad we had a chance to talk."

"How does a BUS know about this stuff?" asked Hank in disbelief.

"I guess you could say that my family wanted me 'put to sleep' also," said Wiggle.  When they didn't need me anymore, they auctioned me off as junk.  If it wasn't for your new friends inside, I would have been at the end too."

"I guess I need to go inside and apawlogize," Hank said thoughtfully.

"I think that is a wonderful start," said Wiggle.  "You have a lot to learn, but you don't have to do it alone!"
